@BUDDHA68NM, to give some context, Carni is GZ's most recent community manager. Typically whenever the rest of the devs plan to release updates, Carni relays this info to the public via livestreams for the game. I would encourage you to watch one or two (usually YouTuber Tenebris Infinite also discusses anything of interest within a particular livestream).
Anyway, the devs currently do not have crossplay in the works for GZ. There's quite a few reasons why, but the biggest one I can think of right now is that it's not really up to the devs to decide whether crossplay should be implemented. In a sense, the big-tech companies may be to blame:

Now, if the devs were to (for some reason) make a flawless sequel to GZ and they had the money and permission from the big-tech companies to do crossplay, I would desperately advocate for it.
Edit: So carni said that?
I can't find the link to carni's post.
What they should have said was Playstation is specifically excluded, but Xbox and pc can play together...you see, that's nuance.
You simply stated pc and console cannot play together, which was incorrect.
