Xbox Game Pass on pc and Steam?

So I have a friend who just got it on Xbox game pass for pc and I'm wondering if he can join me on the steam version?

Sadly not. Xbox Game Pass on PC can only play with people who have that copy of the game. I had a friend who had the game on Xbox and I really wanted to play with him so I had to buy the Windows store version.

If there are two things GZ needs, it would be (in this order),

1) Numerous bug fixes to bring the game to a remotely stable condition, and

2) Cross-platform multiplayer.

Your friend should have the option to gift you a 14 day trial of pc gp through the xbox app if you dont already have it.
