1) Story DLCs (Fnix rising, Alpine unrest), both.
2) Tactical Equipment Pack 2 - mostly cuz of homing missile turrets, but hacking darts useful too.
3) Motorbikes pack - Dirtbike, the only bike capable of reaching max speed on any terrain (while any others - only on road).
4) Companion dlc - concussion armor makes pet significantly more durable, but anyway the food for Himfjall inhabitants (Alpine unrest).
5) Base defense dlcs - only really useful if you dont have mule character (the one u will be stocking surpluses) or if you've installed no structure limit mod.
And it's all
2)Missile turrets so OP the game loose interest, and in MP, when ppl use it(I don't owe it myself), I often crash.
Hacking can be reach with a perk
3)Not necessary, again, change the feeling of the game, which I don't like
4)Prefer not to talk about the companion and this patch here...I could become vulgar
5)Not necessary, at all
"Hacking can be reach with a perk".
I assume you have never seriously played "Hacker" via skills? ~20% chance to hack Tank, ~40% for a hunter. Some apocalypse machines cant be hacked at all. Hacker only really worth against Firebirds, require tough skill points investment.
With hacking dart you dont need any skills to make it work. 100% chance to "convert" any machine (except Reaper). Only downsides are you have to be in range to throw the dart and you cant hack Firebirds for the same reason.
Its 2 different hardly similar opportunities.
"change the feeling of the game"
Fortunately, experimental weapons (especially exp. Algstudsare), bullets striking with lightning, concrete walls which cant stand few bullet bursts and so on - everything makes game feel immersive. Have I forgot big walking AI in 1990? Glad swedes dealt with them so I'm in no need to afraid anymore.
alpine unrest and fnix rising
the rest kinda just feel like the developers dont have enough people buying their game so they make hundreds of dlc's to try and squeeze more money out of the people who already have the game instead of actually doing something about it
It also seems like they need to market their game more, I only found out about it because smiity and his mates (youtube) played it, and it looked like fun while they were goofing around.
