BUILDING BLOCKS MAIN MISSION?

As from my prior post: could this be the course?
I started a new third game on normal difficulty (skirmish) this time. I started the building block main mission and when i finally got to the base, there was a huge machine base there, not just two generator by themselves like in my other two Guerrilla difficulty games that i have been talking about. That big machine base was supposed to have been in my two hard difficulty games. IS THE HARD DIFFICULTY MODE GUERRILLA, STOPPING THE BASE FROM SETTING ITSELF PROPERLY IN THE GAME???? CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THAT PLAYING ON GUERRILLA HARD DIFFICULTY MODE CAUSES THE MACHINE BASE IN BUILDING BLOCK MAIN MISSION FROM NOT SETTING ALL THE BASE COMPONENTS PROPERLY. AS FOR ME, THE TWO GENERATORS ONLY. CHEERS.

I played in adventure mode previous so I can quickly do things faster. I will do it guerrilla and let's see, Wii update later.

Thanks for that. Because I don't know what else cause the base from not materialising properly on those two hard difficulty game. That is the only thing I can think of. Cheers.

Sadly, my Sjoglimten mission and base building were normal on guerrilla mode as well.

I really want the bug to hit me. When the no-base defense bug hit months ago, I was also hit so I found out where the problem was. I really want to compare that save file to this one.

Thanks, I don't understand this base can fully appear to some and not to others. So it wasn't the difficulty scaling that was causing it. Cheers.

Are you talking the " New Quest called Building Block " that IS part of the New Update that just came Out:

This is New and most likely why alot of players Don't have it .. But it is part of Skirmish play and not sure if is in the types of play.

I think they put it in for players that haven't done any building and it was a fairly easy quest with the right weapons.

Take out the 2 generators and then the Main Fnix Generator .. after destroying it .. You get to build a base by click on boxes in the middle of the field if you wish to build. I had no issues with building there ... Before starting a New game.

mid way through game, and having same problem, base not loading, i explored this command point hours ago, still just a pile of supplies

The Picture you show of the base is what should have been in my two Guerrilla hard core games. But what was there when I got there on both games was only the two generators and nothings else. No wall or command centre or enemies. The mission asked me to destroy the two generators and after i did that it asked me to destroy the command centre, which there wasn't any to destroy. So the mission couldn't be finished. I have been saying this all along. So I started a new third game on Skirmish normal mode, and when i got to the barn, there was the full base you took a photo of. THAT BASE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN MY TWO GUERRILLA HARD CORE GAMES WHEN i GOT THERE. WHAT COURSED THAT??? Cheers.

So Sjoglimten base could bug or glitch some players. I say this because another player was able to build a base there, along with Fnix generators, which should no longer be there at all.

I deleted the third game on skirmish normal mode, where i said that the whole machine base was there for the Building Block main mission. So I started a fourth game on skirmish normal mode hoping that the base would be there when I did the Building block main mission. When i got to the barn and looked, there was no Machine base this time, only the two generators, no walls and enemies and no command centre. SO THE BASE AGAIN FAIL TO LOAD UP PROPERLY WITH ALL THE COMPONENTS. THIS IS A BUG THAT IS HAPPENING WITH BUILDING BLOCK MAIN MISSION. I AM NOT GOING TO DO THE MISSION UNTIL THE DEVS FIX THIS BUG. i AM GOING TO TRY TO PLAY THIS GAME AS IT IS. I AM TIRED TO START NEW GAMES TO SEE IF I GET THE BASE TO LOAD PROPERLY. I HOPE THE DEVS SEE WHAT I AM SAYING AND TRY TO FIX IT. BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW THE GAME IS GOING TO GO WITHOUT ME FINISHING THIS MISSION. CHEERS

Interesting ... Only thing I can of is it's a Bug .. OR .. corrupt files.

I ran 2 different Characters on my system .. The first I was part way through the skirmish on world map 3 and came back to it and Fnix base was there in that game as you see it in the screenshot .... I destroyed it .. built a base .. didn't like what I built, Lol and decided to start a new game.
The Screenshots are from my Second Full New Game " world map 1 " that I started with a Brand new Lvl 1 Character ... pushed hard to that point of game, because I wanted to do something different with base build ....
Saw your post and went to location to take Pictures .. " Now have not Completed quest yet other than to take screenshots " ....

That is for today's play through .. and .. If completed .. I will take a couple more screenshot.

I don't if this info will help anyone to figure out why they are not getting it as my game is .... Other than a bug .. or .. bad files.

I know it's a PAIN in The BUTT .. the only other option is to Uninstall and Delete all game files, including saved files and start Fresh.

If you build there .. You will have option for base attacks .. easy_med_hard .. if you so wish.
Easy isn't that easy, you get 4 waves of runners and hunters. Just a thought on that, if you never done one yet.

I will build later .. need more material to build a worth while base.

I verified the integrity of game files in steam, and it said that it was all OK. As I said before, In one of the 4 games I did, the full machine base was there, in the other 3 games only the 2 generators where there by themselves. So some bug is stopping the full machine base from loading up. Cheers.

I have Uninstalled Generation Zero and reinstalled it again. I started a new Skirmish normal mode game. Went i got the building block main mission and then went to the barn, and the whole machine base was there. I am not going to try my luck again and start another new game to see if the base will be there when I get there like the other games i started, I am tired of it. Hopefully other people will post about the issue if they get it when the base only installs with two generators. I will continue with this game here. Cheers.

There must be some kind of conflict between the Old Saves and the New Update with "Building Block quest".
But glad it worked this time .... Normally for me I start a new game when a Major Update comes out .. because of possible game breaking bugs and if I enjoy a game enough it not a problem .. Other than the starting over again, Lol

SO yeah, i did this mission in my original game and its bugged out as well. the 2 shield generators show up but not the Central Command hub. I have not played in some time so i gotta say though i like the newer blue print and crafting stuff
