where did all 7.62mm ammo's gone?
it was really easy to get them from hunters and tanks and all those ammo boxes. But now I haven't seen a single round.
And is not as though Sweden don't use them. Their Former service weapon Automatgevar 4 use them.

Weird, nearly every box I loot has them, as do the higher class Hunters. Granted, I use the KVM-59 that literally eats the ammo up, but I can find a decent amount of it.

just kill the reaper. i got like 3k off of it.

alternatively what you could do is scrap all ammo that you are not using and make the 7.62

Most enemies now drop Lead and you will find at least one explosive (crafting material) in every ammo box, while the amount of ammo you craft has been lowered per batch in one of the last patches, crafting is now a bigger part of the game and you should have little to no problem to get ammo by crafting it. This will also allow you to unlock other crafting schematics for other ammo types.

In the recent update for schematic changes, a lot of aspects changed to accommodate that implementation. You will find certain ammos less often in crates and kills and find more materials to craft your own ammo and items. At first, it is off-putting and annoying to deal with the change, however, if you already have 7.62 schematics unlocked, you will find this better than the way it was previously. Before, it was hard to find enough 7.62 and crafting it (if you use 7.62 almost exclusively) would burn through your mats unless you are a bullet conservationist or one-shot-one-kill enthusiast. Now, you can make almost all the 7.62 ammo you want from the unwanted ammos you break down and direct-drop mats you pick up. For those who dont already have 7.62 or other preferred uncommon ammos unlocked, this will be something to motivate you to unlock them. To store extra 7.62, unlock bases and build a machine-gun pillbox. You can store ammo there in almost unlimited amounts for 7.62

It used to be worth doing 'bunker runs', to stock up on ammo earlier, if you had a playing session with a few mates planned. Just run through the upper 3 bunkers, and you usually had ammo and healing kits enough to last a session of a few hours.. without having to waste time being low on ammo all the time.

I haven't checked the bunkers for quite some time now, and don't know what the item respawn rate is now.
In the start it was instant after you shut down the game, then a few hours etc etc

Maybe it's the DLC, but all of them has been replaced to 9x39mm
