Agree with SniperGirl... If you want advise I would get it from SniperGirl, Flick, there are a others as well. I can advise on some things as well. But don't be afraid to ask questions, The ones I mentioned will give an honest answers. At least thats my experience with them.

It is fun solo, it is a little more fun multiplayer imo (as someone who plays solo on other games 95% of the time), but solo it is really fun as well, in a more relaxing sort of way.

It does feel pretty empty though solo (only a few npc's so far and then just robots) but I could see this being an amazing game with a few friends. The solo play is a good way to learn the ropes of the game as well as the beginning part of the story.

All base missions, then the two expansion DLCs were played solo, BUT, after that, I don't regret joining in the co-op community.

I do and I love it! If you need it toned down, drop the difficulty to Adventure mode. You still run into a lot of enemies but the damage is reduced and more survivable. I love scavenging and exploring so I think the game is awesome for that! Also the world design is gorgeous! The designers really know how to make a vista! Have fun!

Closing in on almost 900 game hours, I've played this game solo exclusively. I was terrified at the start, and still manage to do some stupid moves that get me killed when I get too brave heheh. I love this game solo because I'm a dirty casual, but I'm sure it's not for everyone. I'm really hoping they flesh it out but it's a small studio, so my hopes aren't high.
