I just got it and I've got 4 hours into it. I've only played solo at this point and it has been mostly fun. It does feel pretty empty though solo (only a few npc's so far and then just robots) but I could see this being an amazing game with a few friends. Also, I'm not saying there isn't anything to do for solo players. It's taken me 4 hours just to complete the introduction missions and there is quite a bit area to explore. For solo players, I'd say the sale price is worth it.
The solo play is a good way to learn the ropes of the game as well as the beginning part of the story.
These periods of quiet calm peace punctuacted by moments of absolute pants ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terror
