What are some perks I should avoid?
What are the worst perks for Single Player, Multiplayer and both?

Well I chose the engineer skill along time ago to get ticks from enemies.

I haven't played for nearly a year, then came back about a week ago, I am lucky if I get one or two ticks to drop in a 4 hour session killing at least 20 or so hunters, compared to when I used to have two to four stacks of ticks in my inventory when I used to play.

1. Down but not out - it's useless trash for both solo and multi-play. rather use friend's radio or jog bit
2. Footstep sound reduction - This skill is useless once robots notice you. even 1 point is waste
3. Throw accuracy - do you really want to spend your skill point on this garbage?
4. Veteran Guerilla - Only works on "Marked enemy"
5. Marks man - when you skilled enough, you don't need this. waste of SP
6. Inquisitive Mind - If you already finished all quest, this skill become trash.

dont go for hacking. sounds good but its useless

yes. it's one of the first perks you should get

2nd would be Tech/Salvage for me.

Only spend 4 skill points on that tree, just not worth going any further imo
