Game won't start?

Looks like this had an update today? Now when i start the game I get a 'agree to end user licence' screen, then another agree to this and that thing, then agree to send crash reports thing and then all I get is the tape spinning for ages and the game won't load. Any thoughts? It seems every time they update this game something goes wrong. I've validated my games files, other than that I've really no idea. I just play solo and the game isn't as much fun as it used to be, I guess I've done everything ... maybe it's time to delete this once and for all.

Same thing. Stuck on black screen; I gave it about 10 min twice today sitting on that and game never loaded.

Do you have mods installed? Remove them and the game will start.

its the launch line from mods that causes it. if you remove em it should work. but at that point... what is the point.

Yep. either delete the mods of delete the launch option.

If you're using any of the 'Generation Zero Helper' mods, he is on the ball with updates. Give it a few days and they'll be updated.

Mmm, I did wonder about the mods ... yes I have mods as I just play single player and never online/co-op, but the mods don't seem to have been updated in ages - I have the large capacity for carry and storage and despite looking for an update I can't find one so I'm also stuck with a storage box and recycle station I can't use but it's still fine to play. I'll be honest I'm not great at working out how you install mods and instructions usually just baffle me. Someone on here was very good and gave me step-by-step instructions but that was probably over a year ago. I'll keep an eye out for updates but if I can't get it to work then that's it for me.

Did the update today , first game start after the update got a game crash , but next restart of the game all is fine (5900x/Evga 3080 FTW3 12gig/MSI x570-S). ~ My buddy is going to see what happens on his system (5800x/Evga 3080 FTW3 Copper/MSI x570)

Well now both our systems are crashing after about 5-10 minutes of game play . ~ Never had a problem , either one of us till this 14-15gig update today . :(

I haven't tried the South Coast yet, but my friend and I found that the Farmlands region is still VERY unstable.

For those who use mods, practically every mod needs updating every time the game makes an update Always visit the site where you got them when the game updates and see if there is any update or important notification.

Tried the carry weight storage update, game starts but still got full unusable storage box

Aarggh, I give up! I deleted my old mod and now I'm stuck, can't move, got no extra weight capacity at all. I followed the instructions as best I could but I don't find them that clear -where the hell or how do I extract the mod?
