Anyone else get 'dizzy' with this game (motion sickness, nausea)..?
Just wondering if anyone else is getting dizzy with this game, or has solved it for themselves...

I have only played a few hours but I have been trying different FOV settings to no avail so far (going up or down two at a time). Any suggestions for an FOV?
Anyone else get this way?

I play Battlefield, Just Cause, Hitman and other games and don't get dizzy with them (sometimes I have to adjust the FOV, but eventually find one that works) - it's just this game for some reason.

Any ideas?
Thanks even if none

Try in game Settings\Game turn off Head Bobbing, and Settings\Graphics\ turn off Motion Blur.

Thanks for the suggestions - I tried that and it didn't make any difference sadly... BUT I'm still playing with the FOV and I think I'm getting closer to a value that at least lets me play longer heh

You have my sympathy friend.... It's odd that this game is so bad for it (compared to other shooters).
I do remember having to play with the FOV when FAllout 4 came out (and Oblivion and Skyrim) and was using an FOV around 83 or 85 - but this game I just can't find one that works yet lol

I'm getting close though, I'm just looking for one that lets me play longer now....
Good luck with it - yes maybe there'll be something in the future
The usual horizontal FoV90 that's commonly used is actually FoV59 in this game.

Try with FoV59 if you're on 16:9 monitor and FoV64 if you're on a 16:10 monitor and start inching the setting up and down while moving your mouse around preferable outside so you get a feel for the fisheyeness of peripheral objects at different FoVs.
Go into settings, then Graphics and turn OFF Motion Blur, that kept me from getting nauseous.

Thanks - yes the numbers seem to be different in this game for some reason (metric? lol)

I think I've found a number that is close... At 66 I find I can play longer - even though I still get dizzy - but at least this way I can play for a while at a time!

To others having this issue:

Try around 65! :104:

I go into windows mode and make the window smaller and wider and that helps allot. The larger the screen the more motion sickness I have with games like this. It either goes away completely this way or has less effect, also the motion blur and head bobbing off helps too. I have a 4k, 32 inch monitor and when in window mode I make it a little larger then 1 quarter of the screen and place the window in the center of the screen. I also move my chair back 3 to 4 feet from screen and kick my feet up. :D It may seem to small to see but doesn't feel they way once I played for a bit. Hope this helps.
The 2 main things I turn OFF are Head bobbing and Motion Blur .. If I CAN ... Can't stand those 2 features in any game.

I noticed it back after the aug update. particularly around muskudden. I suspect it's an fps issue and as I dont use head bop or blur but do have 78 deg fov. thats the only thing I can put it down to.
sorry for the necro but does anyone know what the default settings for stuff is? i am trying to cross-refence with a friend who got motion sick while playing in the weekend
I have vertigo. This is my settings:

In game
1. Go to Settings, Game and make sure Proportional Game Sensitivity is "On".
2. Go to Settings, Keyboard \ Mouse and adjust Look Sensitivity and Aim Sensitivity lower
3. Go to Settings, Game and turn off Head Bobbing
4. Go to Settings, Game and and reduce field of view. My personal setting is 64.
3. Go to Settings, Graphics and turn off Motion Blur

I try to maintain my running speed at level 1.
