I also like the KVM 59 level 5 with shock rounds and would consider it the most powerful weapon in the game for close range combat. Some will say the KVM 59 level 6 does more but you get a lot of damage too with it.
Some that use the shotguns will say the level 5 is better with slugs and buck shot but the level 6 is better with bird shot.
But the PVG 90, M46 and the AG4 in level 6 are some of the most effective weapons in the game. You have long range, middle and short range covered with just those 3 weapons with a AG4 most commonly carried and used, for me.
The experimental Klauke does have the EMP explosion as it's special sauce, but that's tied to a random number generator and triggers so infrequently that it doesn't really offer much of a benefit over the N9.
Otherwise, for the guns I tend to use, it's experimental all the way.
