.50 Cal Sniper Rifle Gold 5 Star Weapon

Does anyone know what location/place would be good to try to farm for the .50 Cal Sniper Rifle? so far i've gotten 2 Green ones but on one of my play through's i found it one time but then it's become Rare to get that weapon along with the Scope that is 5 Star ( Yellow ) i think.

why gold when you can have a exp pvg . just kill some reapers ;)

go to himfjäll, there are the best chances of getting one. but you have to be patient. and do one round at a time until you get it.

There is always a chance to get one from looting weapons but it is pretty low and even lower from farming all the bots while their loottable is so big

5star scope and clip was pretty common had my best results from simply looting the tanks(fnix) during medium defense missions but this system is broken right now

himfjäll has this strange issue that lots of 3star stuff drops and 5 star is sometimes more rare than on the main island, so prepare for tons of dead bots to get what you want or simply ask others in multiplayer

yeah, nevermind you're right it's a lvl 4 one now but I'm sure there used to be a worldspawn 5star pvg somewhere. I remember players rushing the map to get it

the place is the antenna in littrop if you go in the direction of the church in alby. there were many opponents up there. one had a PVG/90 with him at the time. level5 this is the mission where you had to remove the tick to get a signal. there is also a cave with a save house nearby.

Z may be right. I seem to remember finding a gold .50 somewhere that was not an enemy drop. Can't remember where... maybe the locked container from the bike run? That doesn't seem right as my mind wants to say it was in the North Coast or Marshlands. Or maybe I'm just delusional... wouldn't be the first time.

*There was a fully equipped 5star pvg in a secret cartrunk at the very end of the archipelago region for a little while a long time ago.. It was left from a devbuild and you had to blow the car up to get into the trunk but yes I seem to recall another normal worldplaced 5star Pvg aswell.

Is it hard to get the Experimental Version of the weapon ? Thinking i should Start Fresh again to Cycle the Loot RND since my character is level 31 Max Current level & i killed a lot of FNIX's but i only got the Shotgun - Handgun & Launcher Experimental Versions but none of the rest sofar. I Like to Snipe from a Long Distance so that by the time the Enemy gets close, it's dead ^_^
