Experimental Ammo Schematic Not Working

Hi, recently I have completed one of the FMTEL Missions and as a reward I received a schematic for Experimental 7.62 Shock Ammo. It is currently in my inventory as a tangible item and I do not know how to so for say, activate it. It does not show up at the consumables crafting station therefore I can not produce the new ammunition. As a side note (This may or may not help) I have not started any part of the new Base Building-Related Missions at all (Which I have heard that the Experimental Ammo can be earned from). If anyone has any ideas on how to activate it, or something that I can do to get it working that would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

For 7.62 shock ammo, you must craft them in the consumable station and you need the following ingredients
16 explosive
32 steel
8 copper
8 titanium
2 uranium

You can recycle your items at the recycling stations to get some of the ingredients. To find out what you'd get ,go to recycling station select for example any ammo for recycling but do not recycle yet, just see what you'd get. Not all ammo breaks down into same ingredients. You can also check what you'd get for med kits, battery, EMP, weapons, adrenaline, etc.

Not sure but I think you can now only get uranium as rewards for succeeding at base defense mission, Apex assignments.

I am sorry, I probably did not explain my situation in enough detail. I have all of the applicable materials to craft it, but I have the schematic for the ammunition in my player inventory as if it was an item like a gun or consumable or such. It is in my inventory like every other item and is a piece of paper with the picture on it. I don't really know if that makes any sense, but that is how it is in my game. The option to craft does not show up at my crafting station as if the schematic is not there at all, even though I have all the right materials to do so. The bass line is, I have the schematic as a player item, and does not show up at the station. I will see if I can get a picture to help make some sense.

If you just got the schematic, save your game by fast travel, exit and restart game. If that fails, the only workaround I know in similar situation is to try dropping it and check if it disappeared from inventory. Go to crafting and check if you can craft. If you still can't, pick up what you dropped and try crafting again. If still does not work, I suggest you drop it , save and restart to make sure you don't have that anymore in your inventory. This will give you the chance to earn it again.

I dropped the schematic from my inventory, then picked it up like you said, and it registered like it should and now I am able to craft it. Thank you for your advice, much appreciated, and I can't wait to start using it, thanks!

I had a problem with upgrading my storage box.
I didn't know why but after the first upgrade all my aluminium disappeared.
I couldn't upgrade to the next level.😵

Later I discovered I made a stupid blunder of a mistake. 😕

I didn't need aluminium, BUT lead instead !!! 😯

But it can't hurt,, just to check if you did everything correctly! 🤔

i think each level of upgrade has different ingredients

The first two stay the same you just need more of it.
The third element changes each upgrade.
(but I don't think that would be the problem here)

I also got a schematic in my inventory. when I examined it at my bench. I saw that I had already learned it. So maybe you can give them to people who have not learned them yet

never actually seen a schematic in my inventory. Dont you just learn it as you pick it up?

Schematics never showed up before in storage or in carry-item backpack, and duplicates was also not possible. The Landfall and Hot fix messed it up just as many Apex assignments.
