I think I know what camp OP's talking about, however I wouldn't call it "haunted" but there is something weird going on there because the moment you approach it your surrounded by fog which seems to more originate from the nearby tree not the camp itself.

This area always looks like this even if it's broad daylight. There's screaming and wailing from no location in specific.
