Where to find .50BMG ammo?

I got the lvl5 sniper, but having a hard time to find ammo for it, anyone got any tips where to farm them? Or can trade me some for items (I got pretty much ever tier 5 weapon and attachments)

There are some places where to get .50 cal ammo, but those are near the end of game main mission wise (Marshlands and North Coast regions).

Fastest way to get .50 cal ammo is to trade it with someone.

FWIW, you can find ammo packs that give you ammo for your current weapon. Have you come across any of those?

Well, we can discuss it here, publically, or in game.

As far as how many i have to offer depends on how many .50 cal rounds you'd like to get for your weapon. Keep in mind that one full stack of .50 cal ammo is 40 rounds and what i have, are full stacks.

One could just copy the savefile, give all the ammo/weapons/attachments away, quit and then copy in the old savefile, relog and woila, everything there to use yourself or give away again.... ;)
*edit* Don't forget to turn OFF cloud sync...**

No need to exploit anything I just finished it all without spending any skillpoints ;D lvl 27 or 28.I only play solo so I can't anyhow. ;) well actually I couldnt finish the missions solo on this septemeber patch because I didnt have lockpicking. So I had to invite someone to open a door for me =)
But I could bring up an older save(june/aug) I no longer play and strip that save off of ammo and it would be considered fair since I did hunt for it. definitions.. =)

Btw how to save up alot of .50 ammo ingame is by not spending any, taking down tanks of any lvl. Having the +100% ammo skill helps so much with this. Use one of your other 2 snipers for a few hours and you will be swimming in 50cal.
*edit* actually thinking back on my +100% ammo playthrough I was never low on ammo ever, always(midgame and forward) 2 rows of .50cal and 1-2k rounds of 7.62 with a few stacks of shotgun shells in between. Limiting myself to only a few weapons and rotating those while hunting has proven most efficient for me. Now with the addition of the stash it's even easier to keep your guns well fed.

Sure I can give you some from my old save since I dont have much on this current one.

Yes, i'd like to get my hands on lvl5 m/49 since my 4th char has lvl4 m/49 and i haven't found lvl5 m/49 for a quite a while now.
