Which is why it confuse's me why people keep asking for new stuff to be added when the base game is not even functioning right...
Even the so called "guide" to help with crashes they pinned does not work.
Pretty sad really that you have to have a pinned "guide" to fix crashes when you cant even make a game that functions how it should.
That is a huge red flag alone in its self.
But it is caused by a memory leak in a certain file, but i wont give the name. Its the developers job to figure it out.
I mean i found out for me anyway it's the main file the one that starts the game causing the issue.
Tho i'm also getting a sound bug where 90% of my sound disappears and nothing i can do can bring it back :/
Actually one guy has a fix for the audio issue Turning off the heartbeat sound causes it.
I may have a possible fix for that tho that's a big if. But i got to wait for my game to finish reinstalling first tho.
Right click on Generation zero and click properties - local files - browse and there should be a file called Generation Zero_F that's the file that starts the game.
Right click on it and there should something saying troubleshoot compatibility click that let it load, then click on recommended settings top one and you should be done.
I don't have any idea what that did but i was crashing every time when fast traveling and after doing that i did not crash once.
Like iv'e gotten way further than i ever have in other places. The sports field near the first bunker would always crash, never crashed once and nearly got to the main island i only stopped cause of a horrible sound bug.
This may not 100% fix it but it's clearly done something.
Well your in luck dude maybe i don't know this seems to have worked for me for the most part at least tho we could be having different crashing issues :/
Again it may not work but it's dome something on my end i used event viewer to look up crashes on windows 10 and it was a application error which lead me to that.
You tried my method yet?
Welp dang i tried at least.... I mean if your on windows 10 you can use event viewer which is what i used but still i found bit of a mess.
