Question: Where do Apocalypse Hunters commonly spawn?

I'm a normie who plays on skirmish difficulty and i'm bloody thirsty for Apocalypse Hunters specifically because i want a kvm 59.

After killing a few of them, i got an 89 and didn't find an Apoco hunter in some time.

So now the real question: Where do they commonly spawn? and maybe where they usually roam. I know luck may not be on my side, but at some point maybe i'll get it.

Wondering why i'm not using the dilapidated one? i threw it away cuz i thought i wouldn't need it. now i'm casually depending on rng to throw a 59 straight into an apoco hunter's pockets.

Reason i want a 59? i have an exceptional extended mag for it.

Hopefully the knowledge of where Apoco hunters spawn are enough. meanwhile i'm gonna go find some

The region with the most common Apoc machines is Himfall. The Northern section spawns them occasionally but Himfall is almost exclusively Apocalypse territory. I'm Level 28 and have been hunting the region for past week trying to get 6-star weapons. Haven't seen any LMGs over 2-star though.

Not to be rude, but i'm not buying the dlc for em. But i suppose i'll take a bigger gander up north. I would buy it, but not today.

Well that's up to you of course. However, from what I've read, Level 4 FNIX Rivals are the only ones that drop weapons aside from Apoc machines. And only Apoc Rivals will drop Experimentals.

Well this is unfortunate. Might've been the only reason why i got an experimental shotty.

Apo hunters show up north. Annagruvan and that church safehouse at the very north that leads to the bridge to the mainland. Those are fairly reliable for me.

I also have seen 6* weapons come from all classes. Maybe more common on the APOC class and "APOC" island, but have looted them all over the map.

KVM59 level 5 drops are rare and I think somewhat seasonal. Like while it is snowing and you are facing North while shooting at a bot. Then you have to be wearing yellow fingerless gloves to loot the bot. That all may increase your luck!

I don't really care if the kvm59 i get is a 3* or below, but if i did get a 5*/4* one i would be surprised to say the least.

I got 4 lvl 6 kvm59s in less than 2 hours in one run. Have only seen 1 since. All on the mainland and all from harvesters.

were they specifically rivals? if so, i haven't seen a single weapon from rival harvesters that i've killed, even the level 4 fnix ones that were at F23 for a long time. Only weapons i've gotten from Machines are 2 weapons, a 6* McStagger and a 5* Sjoqvist Shotgun, both from Apocalypse machines, 1 being a rival (hunter).

Edit: and the 3* 89 from an apoco hunter.

Its supposed to reference the Exp shotty. I like to use it on tanks to force them to not be able to do anything, it staggers enemies nicely.

Staggers em pretty well, does better on tanks since a tank's stagger animation is pretty long.
