What Part to Destroy in Harvester to Stop Backup?
I really hate those Military harvesters calling for backup every single time.
What part do you destroy to disable his backup calling feature?

The back of them the tank on the back. But depends on what weapon you have to. You can do it solo. But the not as easy since the update.

I noticed more ammo today, is this back to normal?

So if you destroy the Tank on the Back, that will disable his radio? Will it also disable his weapons as well? If so, I can sneak, throw emp and focus on the tank then emergency flare to victory.
Unless it was recently updated, you cannot. The best you can manage is destroying the weapons on the Hunters it calls in so that they stop coming when the cap on reinforcements is hit.

But the Harvester call in like 3-4 Hunters and immediately shoots rockets, explosive shotguns at you. All I can do is run, place landmines near cars and hope they pass that way. If I kill them all and battle the harvester again, after a while he will call for backup again until I run out of bullets.

If only I know the specific area on the harvester to disable him calling for backup again. Cause its easy to fight him one on one.

I saw 32 Hunters 'reinforce.' I think the 'limit' may not be so simple. Yesterday, I actually saw a Hunter spawn right behind a Harvester, as though he came from the tick pod. The Harvester rocket launchers used to be a good target (though a bit too tough) but, if I'm right, the magic bullet now is shooting off the tick pod (low on his butt). There seems to have been a weak attempt at re-balancing: shooting Machines in the face now seems effective and, whereas only Runners' fuel tanks seemed vulnerable, all machines now seem vulnerable there. For Tanks, I still shoot off their chin weapons 1st--usually HIS left (your right facing) as it is his rocker launcher. I think some Tanks have a 3rd weapon too. Just clean everything below the main box.

Run from the hunters if u can, shoot the harvester. If u run far enough the hunters will leave the vicinity of the harvester and if you have "long guns" you can still shoot the harvester as you are frantickly trying to outrun the hunters.

Strategy...ie never attack unless you can run into the upstairs of a house. Yes, the upstairs of a house as they can "appear" outta nowhere into houses and barns...even the barns that have a second floor and they will use the stairs.

So far I have never seen any bot "appear" on the second floor of a house although they will try to use the stairs but seem to not go all the way up, ie stay on the middle platform of the staircase.

I wish I could remember where this particular house is, as I'd like to see if devs have fixed it yet. One of the upstairs floors has no hit box. A Hunter clips inside. You run upstairs only to fall through and face him again. I'm usually sourly about such things, but that one made me laugh. There's another house where you fall through an upstairs, outer wall and find yourself asking one of the dogs for a smoke. I think those 2 are the only ones that will ruin that tactic. I'm finding now that destroying a Hunter's Tick pod is the way to go. Thanks for the "long range" tip. Great help.

The only way I know so far is, if you have the ability to hack the robots, although the chance is only 30% on Harvester.

I just did some more 'testing' today. I encountered a Harvester and, as quickly as I could manage, shot off the octagonal box on his butt. He only got the 1st two Hunters out. Apparently, what used to be the Tick pod is now a Hunter pod. Later, I was farther away and had more trouble knocking off that box, but the damage still seemed to decrease the Hunter spamming. That time, I had to deal with 4. Finally, I got one box off a Harvester BEFORE he could spew Hunters.

I have had runners appear upstairs in houses and barns.

I said they will appear in the upstairs of a barn. The hunters are "too tall" to appear in the upstairs of a house. What "I" have seen is them "bleeding" into the upstairs of a house because of their "height" and sometimes their guns can hit you. If you have seen "hunters standing in the upstairs of a house," then their head would be on the roof. I have never seen a "dog" all the way upstairs of a house.

This is what "I have seen." Next time it happens to you I would love to see some pics so I can watch out for it.

Another good tool are EMPs, the small and medium ones can be thrown and will knock out a Harvester for a few seconds.
I just hope we will be able to build them our own soon.
