After i killed them too i thought ok, its over now, Plunder time and a bit Breath to Explore. Wrong i walked not more then 10 steps from the farm and another Pack of Robots Hunt me. I Managed to kill some and Escaped.
But another 10-20 Steps farer away i get attacked by another Pack of Robots and the ones i thought i left behind me Joins the Fight too. DEAD.
Thats far from Balanced and i would not call that like the Description from Scavangers Difficulty Rank Explained it: A "Balance" Between Exploring and Fighting. LOL
Next Problem is that this happens even with low level and you get attacked often from Packs that reachs from 5 up to 10+ where with the low level and Equip its Hard enough to fight more then 2 or 3 at a time.
I can Only Suggest you: Go to Adventurer Difficulty Rank. It helps a bit and after time you get better. But to be true this Game needs a lot more balance for the fights.
There is a case to be made that supposedly these robots are from WW2 vintage creation, so they might be slower to detect and engage than most.
As one who plays Dying Light a great deal, I find what I see in this videos are rather slow and a tad boring, but I can understand the idea from zombie movies. Generation Zero seems to entice players to move in and then get surrounded, as the A.I. does support others, call in helpers nearby, and so this "rope-a-dope" tactic seems to pay off.
It is actually one of the two main reasons I have not yet bought the game. Actually one of three reasons:
1) Slow to react enemy A.I. is odd to me, not sure if that would be fun or not.
2) Enemies seem to be bullet sponges in most videos online on YouTube, although there is customizable difficulty now.
3) Inventory UI seems to need some more loving and improvement.
Seems like a good game on sale, but I'm holding my powder dry because of those things above, which are highly noticeable to me. I mean I've played Deus Ex, System Shock 2, and lots of other slower almost Stealth Type games, and Generation Zero seems slower and more annoying, but solely based on videos I have watched. I think I'll like the gameplay later on, and the assault dogs and ticks do help to cause some fear, but I prefer not using that duality, as Dying Light already goes too far with that in the later versions with Virals making up for the slower movement of most other threats at high player levels.
