Storage full, where to store loot

My storage is full and I have played only 16h, is it safe to leave loot on floor in safehouses?

My second question is about carry capacity skill. I pressume its related to old inventory system and now its useless. Does it increase weight?

It's not safe to leave loot on floor in safehouses.

Max inventory weight for me is 80 and i have opened up the extra with the skill tree.

Are you using the recycling storage?

My weight limit is 48. I am recycling what I can and crafting materials are almost maxed. I have like 20 radios, 35 explosive cans, 120 flares etc. Maybe I should thow away this stuff. I am bit a hoarder.

You mean in your storage box or in your inventory? Either way, you don't need near as much. Only keep 5 or 6 explosive can as you'll always find 5-6 of them in warehouses, a dozen of flares as it's the most commonly found item in the game.
Upgrade your carrying capacity skill and make sure to store your recycling items in recycling stations. Recycling stations are found in about a third of safehouses I'd say. I believe all churches have one if I'm not mistaken.

Upon reaching a new group of enemies you can always pull some with a gas tank and boombox nearby, they come, shoot tank, dead enemies, no waste :)

Yea I love doing this but you don't need 20 to 35 of each lol, between two safehouses you'll hardly encounter 4 different groups

You are quite right, their use is entirely situational.

It was just a suggestion to keep them from clogging your storage :)

Thats in my storage box. I am using recycling station, all my material is there. I thought that storage box and recycling station have no limit. Thats why I was looting everything.

For first several hours I was using only pistol and saving all precious ammo. It was pretty hard, but now I have 5000 ammo of all kind. Im playing on skirmish with diffculty scaling on. I know I have problem with hoarding stuff.

Ammo and supplies will keep coming. Use what you enjoy. There's no need to hoard everything. Try spending what you've got.
