There is no co-op progression.. really?
Yes, Generation Zero may be a riot with a couple of pals (even though they don't get to keep any of their hard-earned progress if playing in your world, and vice versa). But despite its broody atmosphere and brutal combat sequences, Generation Zero is just another open-world FPS without the content needed to meaningfully sustain - and reward - its players. Im really bumped about this. i Purchased a copy for me and my brother but this ruined for me.

Only time you won't keep mission progress is when you don't have the prerequisits for that mission.
Multiplayer mission saving

In a multiplayer game, your mission progress will only save to your local profile if:
• You are in the host’s game when the mission is started.
• You have previously completed any necessary prerequisite mission.

You can still play missions started by the host without the above, but any progress you make together on that mission will be lost for you when you leave the host’s game.

In the mission log you can see whether a mission you are playing will be saved to your profile or not."

This is exactly why i cancelled my pre order. This game is built for co-op but then the actual co-op seems to have been bolted on last minute. I will keep it on my wishlist and keep checking up on it but until they actually add proper co-op im not buying it.

Same as in The Division no ? Playing missions which are not unlocked in your game.
Wait for real reviews and patches then.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I have followed all Beta footage of this game. Followed all the live streams made by Avalanche & the reviewers seem to be playing a totally different game to the one that I've seen. I've seen this game played in solo mode without too much trouble, you just need to use your head, plan your strategy & pick your moments. If that is too hard for you then don't play it in solo but playing the game in solo mode is more than doable & a hell more of a challenge than having your friend covering your backside for you all the time!

It seems to be easier nowadays to be negative. The internet thrives on negativity from faceless people behind computer screens. Games not even really out yet and here comes the assumptions and useless opinions. Please give it at least a day and actually play the darn thing before judging.
