Anyone stuck at Another Castle?

A few days ago me and my brother were doing this mission called Another Castle, but the game crashed so we called it a night. I decided to play on my own and can't seem to enter the bunker (can't open the red door). My current objective is to "Search for any information about the events of the attack". I can't remember if we were able to get inside or not. Did I miss something? Thanks for the help in advance.

There's a cassette you need to pick up, located next to a radio in one of the radar surveillance rooms in the naval bunker. You don't need to go through blast doors, it's accessible through the loading area next to the naval base. I also had trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do since the tape and radio are hard to spot packed in with other junk between two radar units.

Hmm sorry friend still having trouble, I've already had the "Radio transmission from Minken Command Center". As the two radar units do you mean that room with the dead soldier? With the L desk and the headphones and telephone on top?

A workaround is to find someone else in multiplayer who hasn't started/completed that quest yet, and play it together with them. Check the official discord for groups if you don't have anyone else that can help you and hopefully there is someone around.

Note: They have to host the game, as you hosting the game will just result in the same issue.

3 years later this is still not fixed? I cant get into that bunker

The update messed it up. You need to turn the power on to open the doors, but the generator is inside the base. In other words, the mission is broken.

As long as ridicilous bugs like this exist, imo we need an official noclip command. I couldnt find an "unofficial one" either

Checked forums and found a workaround. Fast traveled to nearby base. Exited game. Verified files on steam. Started game. Took bicycle to Naval base. Doors were unlocked. Good luck.

If i would get a penny everytime someone says fo verify the files i would be billionär right now. As if it would be total normal data somehow gets corrputed all the time. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!! I had to verify files like 2 times when using steam for 15 years.
What might be true though is try to restart the game.

I tried jumping in the water at the north side of the bunker to teleport to the underground pier area, which worked, BUT the door to that area was also closed, due to missing power. Had to fasttravel out of the area to the next safehouse.

After that i was able to get inside after i killed 5 enemies in the area before the bunker. Thats also a quest i had, which i also tracked and tried to do before but there was no enemies. Now they were there and i could progress the questline, which let me use a radio and that led me into the bunker and the entrance door was suddenly open.

I have tried all of the above "fixxes" and nothing has worked. I am still locked out of the bunker. This is a huge turn off for me to hit such a big bug so early in the game. From what I have read this bug has been around for about 3 years! That speaks volumes about this dev. team.

How / Where do you even turn the power back on at? I don't see a way to turn it on..
