Generation Zero®

Generation Zero®

Ver estadísticas:
How could this game be so bad?
Game includes:
No death penalty
Sometimes infinite robots
In the houses you are perfectly save
No survival mechanics
Loot is either too much or too little
The map can be barren
Sooooooo much walking around nothing
One of the worst quest design and tracking ever made
Game almost forces you to look for loot and collectibles....by leting you know they are there
No story almost
One of the worst inventory systems ever made
Tired of all the backpacks and crates having the only loot
Everything has so many bullets....
The shooting aspect of the game involves no tactics
Boring.....
No sense of progress, you just make the long walk to the "end game"

I think a lot of the problems have to do with the starting archipelago region. I thought the game was insanely easy until i ventured onto the main land.

The game has only a handful enemy types but the tiers of enemies are different and act in different ways. Even the simple doggos start to get shotguns and rail guns along with different armor that changes how the fights progress.

Personally i think that if they changed the adrenaline shots to stack to 3 It would make the game more challenging to everyone.

Yepp, now I'm really hesitated to start a gunfight because you can very fast get pinned down and outgunned.

Definitely.

I think another major factor is playing solo vs. co-op.

I get the impression the devs kind of wanted to push the co-op aspect of the game, but I can't help but feel that playing solo gives you the "truest experience" in terms of pacing and atmosphere.

I could be wrong, though; I've only played solo. This is just a guess based on how different the experience would be, I imagine, in co-op.

It just seems that everything would feel/be a lot less dangerous with a group.

Same here, I want to do the story before co-op. Sneaking around with tanks clanking around you is scary, but when the music changes and yeah get that noise that tells you hunters are approaching, it's then the heart start pumping! Yesterday I tried to start a fight between a couple of tanks be throwing a sticky flare on one of them. Well, it worked for a while then they changed their mind and barraged me so I was thrown down a slope and down into the water ... it almost worked damn it! LOL

Yeah, you also can just exploit the game so easy, in 5min you can have a ton of ammo and heals. You just exit to menu and enter game again...along with the invulnerable in the house and you have a very bad starting experience. I will play more to see how it is.
There are some very interesting strategies and mechanics but sadly......meh, exploits or design?
