Real world location
Is the game world a real world region of Sweden or a made up area?

FWIW Saltholm is a real place in Sweden, it's in the Göteborg (second biggest city in Sweden, and location of their only remaining naval base) suburbs, but it's not at all a set of islets like in game.

They're inspired by real-world Sweden. There never was an F-23 squadron, the highest squadron number was 22, which was the UN Congo force in the 60's. The devs have done their utmost to capture Sweden of the era.

Well , its not one real location, but the landscape is probably recorded in real life in several locations in Sweden. The costal area looks like the East coast.

Also the names are real life names, just slightly altererad.
Not entirely made up, name of the island is a real place, and the island itself does exist, it's just modified for the purposes of the game, it's rotated 90 decrees to the right and a piece is moved here and there... it's strange that haha
