Bunker locations: Am I doing something wrong?

Hey,
So, I'm quite enjoying the game even with its large amount of bugs.
I dit all the main missions and side quests until I arrived at the mission called "The Command Bunker Network", but I find it weird that the bunkers names aren't related to any name on the map.

I don't want to use a wiki page telling me the exact bunker locations, but am I really supposed to randomly wander through the map and stumble on a bunker just by beign lucky?

It's not quite as bad as just randomly happening across the bunkers. If you look at the map, there are subtle clues; look for roads that have dead-ends and also look for small, isolated structures. There's one bunker per region but a lot of unmarked spots are worth checking out as they have good loot, collectibles, and sometimes side-quests. Good luck and happy hunting!

I'm currently at the end of the Archipelago Region, so I guess all the other bunkers are on the main land.
I thought about looking after small structures on the map, but I noticed that the bunkers on Archipelago don't have any visible structure on the map. But I'll take a look anyway, thanks!

By the way, I have been walking for 20 minutes to go from Archipelago to the main land, and I'm only half way through... And I started at the closest safe house.

Yes, the others are spread across the entire map and they will become marked on your map and your quest updated upon reaching a certain proximity of them. A very large proximity actually so you needn’t worry about having to wander aimlessly.

You do realise that once you find safe houses across the map you can fast travel to them ?
Since there are so many safe houses on the map, it shouldnt take 20 mins to walk anywhere on it.

Yes, as I said it I was on the closest/latest safe house available. But well I guess I was just unlucky to not find a closer one to the location I was supposed to visit next.

Thanks for the reply, I noticed that when I exited the Archipelago region, but at first I thought I had to find the 6 other bunkers also on the Archipelago region (it was a bit unclear to me where was I supposed to go, and since I was still really far from the other regions I thought I still had to stay on Archipelago for a while).
