Adrenaline is spawning basically only when you don't have any in your inventory.
My best a-shot looting place is Minken bunker. In there, max what i've picked up while looting all boxes is 6x a-shots. Not bad. Usually i get 2-3x. Though, there are other good spots for a-shot looting as well.
Btw, those "ninja" robots are Hunters (or Hunter if you're talking individually). And depending their color scheme, they are either Proto (prototype) = Orange; Military = Green/camo; FINX = black w/ red accents.
To me, they are the worst enemy in game, especially FINX ones with their Explosive Flechette main weapon.
Almost forgot: if you don't have any a-shots but (big) battle is unavoidable, drop the field radio down to somewhat secure place (e.g inside house). Once you die and spawn in safehouse, you can fast travel to your dropped field radio, thus continuing the battle (e.g seek revenge). Each field radio has 3x uses.

Oh, if you want to get good in this game, you can do as i did: do all missions strictly in Single Player.
Sure, at times, things get tough but then again, if you can survive alone in the GZ world, then with other people - it's like a walk in the park.
I've completed my game long time ago and now, i join random MP games and help out new players. At times, i also share my wisdom here in Steam discussions. ;)
