Most of your issues you have are solvable, ones ive had and figured out the issue too, but i get what youre say, the path issue is literally you dont have enough, or wide enough paths, thats a game design in some aspect, although it looks goofy. The issues i have is when i place plantpots, i dont want guests to walk through them, i want them to have a hitbox of some sort ya know. I also want the climbing to be sorted out because no matter what i make, they are all goofy. I want the immersion, the core selling point to be fleshed out better, like all this new content is amazing and welcomed, but sometimes when you see that happen youre like ew gross. Another thing i struggle with is animal stress, i wish the hiding mechanic worked better, like if i want an enclosure with 360 viewing, then having a house or something they can hide in should be enough, and behaviour sorted to solving that. seeing how cat cages are just that, cages, i dont see why they are stressed out so much in my bigger, more planted and houses enclosures
It will surely be compatible, they have never released an update that require starting a new zoo.
