How Safe is Nexus Mods? And Can I Trust Them???

I really want the mods, but I'm scared that it might hack my PC and steal my data etc.
Has anyone tried it and can APPROVE 100%?
I just don't want to take a chance and end up making a sacrifice!
So if you can, pls tell me so that I know please!

I have used them for planet zoo and other games without any problems, most indicate that they have been scanned and are virus free, other mod sites could be less safe

Nexus is pretty safe, as long as you download links from the mod authors own download page you should be fine. You can use an antivirus and an adblocker to be extra sure the links you are linking are the safe ones.

Like everything hacked, use at your own risk. But in general the mods obtained at nexus are not going to completely break things. And usually one can remove remove them without issue if problems do occur. Note that there are older mods there that can cause Planet Zoo to stop functioning due to certain incompatabilities.
For Planet Zoo, I see no need to use most of the mods one can get there but stop short of saying do not use them.

I think it might anyways be better to rather buy DLCs instead of downloading it from Nexus.
Plus, Frontier has WAY better quality then Nexus, in my personal prefrence.
Bc, they're a real and legit company who makes games.
So I'd rather stick to the safer option (which is rather buying DLCs) then to put my PC at risk.

Nexus mods is fine, and while they aren't usually at frontier quality, many (especially remasters) far surpass it. Nexus is also a legit company, btw, they are fully registered as a business.

Nexus is good but only problem is with it is that you need to ask the creator for using assets and that can be tricky
