Best DLC for build pieces?
I'm considering getting some DLC so I can get more build pieces. I haven't played the game beyond a few tutorials, I attempted to create my own park (did the franchise option) and went to build a custom information booth and was disappointed with the lack of build pieces- wall pieces specifically, only one allowed you to change the color and there was only one wooden wall. I wound up closing the game out because I couldn't build anything I was happy with. I tried to find wall sets on the workshop but there isn't much and what IS there often requires several DLC packs to use.

Anyways, I'm interested in getting some DLC and was wondering which packs offer the best build pieces? I'm less interested in themes and want build pieces that could be a bit on the generic side and would really appreciate wooden walls.

Kinda funny, everyone probably wants new & exotic animals but I just want more wall pieces.

I personally use the Europe pack and twilight pack most often, but I'm a sucker the stone work. It just comes down to what you are really looking for when you build.

It really depends on what style you want to build in most. The three I'd recommend:

Europe - this is good for a more classic style, as you would expect from the title it pulls from several European styles but is great for building castle type buildings.

Australia - This is a more rustic or rural style. Most of the building pieces are made out of metal, so I use it for a lot of "small town" type of buildings. I know you're more asking about building pieces, but it also adds in Australian animals which the base game has only one of.

Arctic - The bad thing about the Arctic pack is it's got a weaker roster of animals, but I personally love the building set. Well, half of it. Wood based, very Nordic in style but also works for rustic and rural feels, same as Australia but with different types of pieces. It's probably my favorite DLC building set. The other half of the building set is Christmas/Holiday based, and it's just alright.

Editing to add in the Aquatic set. On forums and here, it's much highly rated though I've never seen the huge appeal to it. It's just okay to me. It has a very coastal/beachside feel which would make sense given the theme. A lot of wood pieces in this as well.

The South America (bamboo and grass thatched tropical jungle type of feel) Africa (a more quasi desert, but not full on desert feel), Conservation (back stage props and every day pieces, the building set is hard to describe, as it's 3D printed, so it's to me just okay), and Twilight (more European based pieces but with a more cohesive theme) are all good but in the bottom half to me. Twilight may replace Aquatic in the top half as I get more use out of it.

Thank you for this explanation, it's super helpful!! I'm getting Europe and Twilight for sure (I was already interested in Twilight because I like bats) and then it's a toss up between Arctic and Aquatic, I'm leaning more towards Aquatic because I don't like snow and will probably never use the Christmas pieces. Although I will probably wind up with all the packs eventually but I just want 2-3 to start.

Definitely aquatic for the rocks. Cos the rocks that come with aquatic are awesome. Plus you get the stained wood wall type (which is fully colourable!) as well as the waterfall pieces. And there's a load of more nice scenery too.

The Christmas (?) pieces are exactly from the Europe Pack. The Arctic Pack is mostly things you would find in tundra or Arctic areas of the world.
