Just adding aquatic exhibits would be cool I think, and easy to implement, as it would work like any other exhibit bug, lizard, spider, etc.

Mods adding cetaceans is the only reason I bought this game. It's the most requested animal besides flying birds. So yes, they must add it at some point.

Planer Coaster 2 failing is because there is nothing new there - same as in Jurrasic Evolution 2.

They didnt updated game engine enough but they needed to relase sth new for cash.

Don't forget FOMO preorder, day one dlc, it being full of bugs, themes and rides being withheld presumably to sell back later and overpriced, tone deaf dlc before fixing those bugs. They blew a lot of goodwill with that disaster and I wouldn't trust a PZ2 for at least a year after release.

i don't think they will do a planet zoo two cause i read the reason they left the game. They said not enough sales.

I'd be ok with them. However, not at the expense of more land animals... I wish they would do an aquarium expansion pack too. I feel like there is way too much ocean life diversity to cover with a standard animal pack. But, like I said there are still so many land animals I'd love to see... So maybe a few more normal dlcs then an aquatic expansion.
