Animals not hiding when stressed
I'll get a notice of low welfare, the animal is stressed and wants to hide, and there are plenty of places for them to hide, but they stay almost frozen to the same spot. They don't go hide, so that their bar keeps dropping or stays at 0 and protesters come. What do I do?

Are there items placed snugly in that area, or is there a chance the terrain is slightly off? I had a lion get stuck in the same spot next to a building over and over. Finally just had to move it a teeny bit and he never did it again.
Yeah, animal behaviors do not always get a shy animal to move away from what is causing stress. Best options are the quiet signs and one-way glass. One should also plan to have shy animals on side paths rather than busy paths in the zoo.
I've found putting a short row of plants just along the inside of the 1-way glass helps a bit too- just tall enough that the animals can't see over it but the guests can. Ideal for Pangolins, and smaller critters
I was struggling with this this morning... first I blocked off their bed area from people (lemur cage people can walk thru)... that slowed it down but it was still happening... I touched up the bushes and stuff... I'm not sure it helped... then I read up online and I put down the two signs in the "security" tab that say to "be quiet" and "dont feed the animals" -- I made sure these two signs covered the entire enclosure... It's been an hour real time since I've seen the stress warning and I think that did it...

Long story short: a private bed area and the two security signs covering the entire pen... seems to work.

Oh... forgot, also I put the entry on the lowest setting: "Few" -- so it's not as crowded in the pen.
