No one has brought dire wolves back to life, it's nonsense. All they've done is modify grey wolves to look like the fictional dire wolves in game of thrones, presumably to profit from them at some point. Jurassic Park was supposed to be a warning not a blueprint.

The species name is Canis dirus or Aenocyon dirus, by the way, and is not an ancestor of modern wolves (Canis lupus). In most languages there is no translation (other than fantasy names referring to Game of Thrones). And of course this extinct species (which lived on the American continent) has not been magically resurrected. See the comment of @Anthracite

Saw this in the news and on paper today. I was thinking someone's surely gonna bring this up in PZ forum or game, lol... 😅 They look handsome though-- fantasy, modified or resurrected. So I hope these trio will survive the current dance of the world

lol no dire wolves are still extinct. grey wolves being genetically engineerd just to look like dire wolves doesnt mean they are one.
