Zoopedia Achievement question
Okay so I'm down to the last achievement. I have a quick question.
Can you unlock the achievement via Sandbox gameplay or does it work only in Franchise and Challenge?

Don't remember for certain but I am thinking it is in franchise only.

I see this is one long grueling task then especially if you bought a lot of DLCS... so far i only have three before i go all-out once summersale drops.

It only requires the DLC that you currently have.

I think it is only the base game animals that count to this achievement, but I am not sure. I made a zoo only for that achievement and took one animal at a time.

If it is a non-campaign linked achievement then only Franchise works and as mentioned above "All animal" type achievements are base game animals only even if you have DLC installed.

thanks for the input, sandbox prolly wont unlock this. Challenge Zoo is more problematic than Franchise. Guess I'll sink in a lot of hours in my franchise again (deleted my old one).

I don't want to sound patronising or if you already have a plan, but I would recommend having a couple of franchise zoos to get this achievement that you switch between. Start with a couple of animals you've already unlocked and then have some rolling stock of the animals you have to research, leaving the animals that have high appeal to the end of the process (mostly because they cost high conservation credits and they are a bigger drain on your zoo economy. If you start off with things like tortoises, bears and crocs/gharials which have a long lifespan you can play on fast forward to get your newer animals researched and you'll do it no time! All the best for that 100%.

thanks for the tip. ATM i have a franchise zoo dedicated to farm CC (nile monitors, african safari with lots of antelopes, ostrich, warthogs.) You are right in the need to farm CC because some animals in the market have insane prices on top of being rare.

One can get frontier animals for cash or lower CC if one is patient. No need to shell out CC for overpriced animals. But still those very high appeal animals will cost a bit. Another fun way to get CC is to participate in the community challenges. Even the release to the wild challenges will give the player cc bonuses at various reward levels plus the CC for release with the added bonus of gift animals.
