Can I move my Zoo to another Continent or place?
I like my Zoo, but it keeps on raining and it's dark; that's no fun.

No, but you can edit opening hours to avoid the dark.

I think you can also adjust the weather, at least in the sandbox. But in real life it does rain a lot in some places, and snow (one environ always has snow on the ground). A good opportunity for selling them umbrellas from the information kiosk. The temp also changes a lot. Some places it is scorching, and you sell more drink. Some places drop to -degrees. It's why there are different environs to pick from. If you need heaters or coolers and water temp devices in habitats. Different challenges. If you are not sure what those are per environment I am sure you can look it up.

Don't hate on the rain! It is profitable, assuming you have placed info centers at the busiest locations in your zoo. Visitors rush to buy umbrellas when it rains.

I think the Location doesn't change anything about how much it rains. If it rains all the Time it will most likely stop after some Time. In my British Zoo it rains almost never, in my Zoo in Hokkaido it rained at some Point all the Time but now it's approximately the same Ammount as in my European Zoos. Those are both in the Temperate Biome but I also don't remember a Difference from my Zoo in tropical Africa

It certainly does change if it rains, and if it snows, and how often. Although very not every year for some reason. In some environs it also never seems to go dark, or at least fully dark, and I am not sure if anywhere is like that. Some places have months long days, but also months long nights. A few places have incredible monsoons once a year, and rain forests areas speak for themselves. Interesting that you can only control heat and cold in habitats. It would also be great if you could control the weather in them as it would be depending on where that animal is native to. (Even though in zoos the animals are usually native to that zoo!)

Yes, but only once. After that they start complaining over the price or they allready have a umbrella! It is a tricky, but only one-time-thing for a lot of them: they return to your Zoo, with their umbrella!

Still, it's quite profitable. In my rainy zoos the Info Centers make more money then any of the souvenir shops.

More and more people come in to the zoo, and they buy umbrellas, and they only complain about the price if you set it to high. Or in reality, walk away without buying. That applies to all kiosks.

Info centers are a bit wanky though.

It's the only guest facility where clicking on the individual shop will show that the only recent thought is of it being expensive, while at the same time it has a huge line and I literally never see anyone turn away when observing it directly.

Considering I often directly observe other visitors who do stop at those same info centers thinking about how great the prices are, I just ignore that message in "Recent thoughts" and set prices based on actual observed guest behavior (i.e. I raise them from the base prices).

Hrmm, I have never had the problem of people thinking it's too expensive, unless I set it too expensive.

Occasionally a single guest will come in and slag everything off. I just ignore them. Next time I discover one I will see if they can be ejected.

It happens to at least some info centers in every zoo I build.

Here's a screenshot showing how the messages even are contradictory. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2460527433

The visitors in that line are ALL thinking what a great value the prices are and they are marked up 20% from default prices. I sit and watch and not one visitor turns away.

I just ignore those negative thoughts showing on the Shop itself. They never show up in the Zoo-Guests summary of most frequent visitor thoughts and Visitor happiness in my zoos is always in the green....So honestly idc.

Back on the topic of moving your zoo. Depending on the actual size of the zoo I once encircled my entire zoo with a barrier and saved it as a blueprint. Then start a new zoo in whatever continent or Biome that you like and place the very large zoo blueprint into that. If it is a big zoo maybe you could just do it in sections and recreate your original zoo.

That's pretty brilliant.

Having said that I am certain you cannot save habitats inside of habitats so you would need to delete the existing habitats before creating the blueprint but re-create the all in the new zoo
