Swimming Koalas

This is a super weird and specific question, I’m sorry. But I had a habitat with Koalas that had some swimmable water in it. Maybe this always happened and I just didn’t notice but I swear since the 1.9 update they swim all the time. All the time. Never climb on anything. Just swimming. I’ve checked, they can get out. I move them out, they go right back in. They don’t need to swim to get to anything. It’s not a problem per se. It’s just weird. Is this a bug or something?

I didn't even know Koalas could swim considering they're an outback/desert type animal (Australia which isn't really known for water animals that I'm aware of).

Koalas are good swimmers and they do not live in the desert. They live in the eucalyptus forests. However, they should not be in the water all the time; sounds like a little glitch
since the patch.

Interesting. I (obviously) did not know that. I've just never seen a Koala swim (my limited knowledge comes from zoos).

I noticed that my Japan Macaques not only refuse to bathe in their shallow hot pool (with bubbles, steam and raised water temperature), they also haven't used their climbing area a single time. They mostly run along the shores of the little lakes.

The way I play Planet Zoo:

1. Get excited about new DLC.
2. Buy new DLC.
3. Play another game for 1-2 weeks until "fixed it" patch is released.

Yeah XD once after a patch I had a Panda habitat where literally they would all box up every 60 seconds no matter what. I tried moving things around and changing the barrier, all sorts of stuff. They'd all box up and I'd have to go over and unbox them. The file was unplayable until a patch lol
