franchise mode - connection lost [pls help]
Hello, sorry for my english, but i have a problem with franchise mode,
when playing franchise mode, it disconnects the connection with the server every 10 minutes
I have a stable internet and in other games I do not have such a problem

So far I have tried:
- Disable the windows firewall
- Disable the anti-virus program
- Changing the name of the zoo (someone wrote that it supposedly helps)

May not solve your problem, but for me, when other devices get on the internet it disconnected me for a moment (so the game thinks anyway). I have never found a solution. Biggest culprit is the XBOX. Something about running the game and my husband logging into his XBOX I have to wait several times as I guess it take priority. I usually save the game, alt + tab to look at internet, always connected, and come back to it saying I am online again.

I have the same problem. No idea why. No other device connecting. Even when i am alone in the house it disconnect me. But only for a few seconds then i am online again. I have like you a stable internet. So no idea why. I just try to live with it. I save the zoo when it happens and when i see i am online again i go play again. I stopped selling my animals for those credits because the sell has cancelled then when losing the connection.
Sorry i cannot offer a solution, just that i know the frustration you are having. Sorry for my english.

I too see this random disconnect issue. It could be your home's modem can't handle the traffic.
However, it seems to me that it might not be in one's home set up but somewhere out in the transmission net. It might be that your connection is being rerouted by an ISP to accommodate high data traffic. It may even be the franchise server having too much traffic.

The world wide web is a giant network of terminals passing traffic to and from other terminals, one's connection is not direct to a server.

developers should update the game because it is evidently the fault of the game servers, more and more players are complaining about the same problem, even on the main page to report problems with the game, but unfortunately the developers do not respond or are preparing a new hotfix,

I bought a game for PLN 100 and I can't even play it because it disconnects me every 5-10 minutes
can some game developer comment?

I have had the same problem for over a week. Don't play in franchaise mode anymore, because it's just annoying. I hope for an update or hotfix.

A reminder of some basics...
Be certain no other apps/programs are running. Disable steam overlay.
In the windows start menu go to windows administrative tools and click disk cleanup and defrag. This will clean out old temporary files and sort things on your main drive.
Also just check your connection at speedtest.net.

@grampers62 I have already tried many solutions and looked for many ways to solve this problem, unfortunately none of the ways works.
My internet is stable and it works fine on every other game and on websites.
I have no other apps open, only PZ, still dropping the connection despite this.
The game is installed on my new disk where I only keep steam games, so I doubt defragmenting the disk will help.

Everything else works fine for me. PC is clear. No other programs are running - only PZ- and i have a stable internet connection. Only the franchise mode has been running since the last updates with recurring disconnections. For example, I say "Hello" to 2 VIPs and the cancellation comes immediately. Restart in franchise mode and it doesn't happen again at that point, but later at another point. That's why franchise mode is as good as unplayable for me at the moment. Challenge, sandbox and career run without problems. Before the last updates, franchise mode also ran without any problems.

For me when this happens (I don't experience it too much, just when someone else in my house turns on the xbox or PC, or I have left the game idle in pause too long) usually saving the game gets it to reconnect. Alt+Tab to desktop and back into game if the save didn't get it to recognize connection. Wish I had a fix that was more permanent. Sometimes as my franchise zoo's get near my PC processing capacities the connection gets more unstable in game most likely not because of my connection but because my PC/game are struggling to process all the guests, staff, animals, and buildings and that affects the game's perception of my connection.

same problem here. Network is fine I play this on my pc , Just not very happy since franchise mode for me is the best . I hope they would fix this soon cause I'm not playing this or buying any new DLC packs until they do.

The first attempt to log in to the franchise always results in a connection error. Ecoballs are not loaded. The solution is to go to the main menu and log in again.

Same problem here since the last update, before it was working fine. Will just randomly disconnect after 10min, no matter what I do. My internet connection is completely stable and is not lost during this time. As this has only started very recently and beforehand I was able to play perfectly fine it might have nothing to do with my computer but with the last update?
