Can not place a path on a entry

I discover a strange thing/bug
I can not place a path.
Here is a screenshot.

Seems like a problem with the terrain, but it's all flat.
I tried another new map with the same problem.
In the past I never had this problem.
What do I wrong?

I see your issue. Did you build it all in pause? If so, then you need to unpause the game, restart Planet Zoo, then try. Please reply soon to see if I can help furthermore. :D

In the picture the gate seems to be not seated on the terrain for some reason. Is it on a slope, I see you said the terrain was flat. Try removing the gate then adjusting the barrier posts to align them to the terrain then try the gate again. You might want to be sure that barrier placement is set to follow the terrain. Also be sure that flatten terrain is disabled in the path menu.

I tried to remove the gate and placed It on another place.
When I try to connect a path I get the same message.
The terrein is flat and I tried again to flat the terrain.
Mostly I build in pause, but last year that I played the game I Did the same without any problems with paths.
I unpaused It and tried again, not working.
I closed the game and start again a new empty map without pause the game but still not working.
It happend on all the paths with Doors and shops.

I see there is a option called 'terrain equalizer' that was the problem

Yes I think that might be it if your language is not English.
