But I am not sure it's a bug.
Is there anything you can do to make the shops more efficient, are you charging 1.25 for toilets? Always a winner!!
I just mean there might be other ways to keep the economy fired up.
A single grey seal costs $1,312.65 for tier 1 food, $1,470.15 for tier 2 food and $1,548.9 for tier 3 food
each additional seal adds to that (Juveniles are a bit cheaper to feed)
So two seals at tier 1 food should be costing you $2,625.30 if you have no pups, i assume you rounded up to 3,000 but if not then i dunno
but ultimately, if you want a bug fixed you need to report the bug so that they actually know it exists in the first place and can look into it. THey don't read these forums
every animal you add adds new food costs, for example I have a yearly food bill of $43,167.87 in my zoo, for 165 animals, which has been running for 27 in game years.
I mean I have 2 adult grey seels, 2 pups, and 5 king pinguin in a 4 years old zoo and my food bill is 14k. I just cant.
How many other habitats do you have? I'm thinking that like the Lions, Tigers and Bears that Seals and Penguins might just be a particularly difficult animal to keep.
I'm not 100% convinced it's a bug, but it might be.
just because it is not a good starting animal does NOT mean the game is broken lol. Elephants cost $3000 food PER elephant. That's for 1 elephant, and they need a herd. So you wouldn't start a zoo with elephants, because it's not financially possible. It does not mean the game's broken just because you can't begin a zoo with it as your starting animal
and the only animal that was born was that one seal? or did your penguins and other exhibits have new babies too?
then submit a bug report with screenshots so they can look into it. I'm not having that happen with my 5 seals (3 adults, 2 pups).
I mean i'll give it to you like this, I got 4 seals and 6 king pinguins, and my food cost is over 14K
no idea what to tell you then. ive been playing since beta and have not run into that bug, maybe it's a rarer bug
they've fixed many things, not sure why you say they're terrible at it. submit another bug report, every week or month untill they respond to you, then. Maybe this bug, which i haven't heard about until you posted about it here, has never been reported by anyone
i'm just offering up solutions, because posting it here on steam isn't going to do anything, and it doesn't seem to be a bug that is affecting everyone
