What's next for Planet Zoo

Do you guys think Planet Zoo will be getting more DLC or will the game become complete and finished now that Planet Coaster 2 is Frontiers next main focus?

There was one more confirmed PC version DLC. They are in the progress now of converting it over to consoles. They have already released many of the DLC's.

Hmmm..... More dlc? Can the game game support more?
Most games are planned from the start to have a specific amount of dlc to fit within the expected operation parameters of that game. It's a marketing ploy used by developers to get games out and continue earning profit on dlc sales.
Planet zoo is a little different in that there seems to have been room for more than what was planned. That left dlc to be open to additional dlc that seems to be more market driven. That means if Frontier believe they can make enough profit on another dlc they might add more.
Will we see more for PZ? I suppose that's a board room thing now. But I do expect that since they shifted to Planet Coaster 2 Planet zoo will see less and less activity.

It crossed my mind that maybe they're going to wait until the anniversary of the base game's release to do the last DLC, which would also be the perfect time to add the anniversary bonus animal. They've waited this long since the spring release of the barnyard stuff. What's another 2 months compared to that?

I want another Asia pack (as in Asia Asia, not Eurasia), since only South Eastern Asia is covered.

With things like PZ DLCs are to be expected because if they included all the animals all at once it would have been ridiculous! There's still 1000s of species and sub-species, animals in general, so far still not in the game, but who knows if they will keep adding DLCs? To be honest they need to add animal types that are still not in the game.

I'm waiting for a sale to buy the game and all the dlcs. But seems to me the game is missing birds.

I believe he/she is referring to the recent financial report by Frontier. It does not specifically state the name of the game, but it states a third title is scheduled for 2026.

Maybe, after the coaster game, they'll revamp this one and aqua it. Go the whole thing as an aquarium game. They never really did a wildlife preserve aspect to the zoo. Am I remembering wrong, or could you do that in Zoo tycoon (1 or 2). I seem to remember a zoo game where you could release stuff together but needed a lot of space. Things still sometimes got killed, but mostly if stuff was hungry.

Anyways, just a direction they could go if they made another zoo game. They should of learned a ton of stuff from this one on what people actually want from a zoo game and what would be nice in talking about, but not so great to actually do.

Most of the community believe the last DLC for the PC version will be a pack of animals from the mega-wishlist. Frontier confirmed a couple weeks ago that it would be an animal pack.

It is the video that they first discussed Planet Coaster 2. I mean Frontier Unlocked video.
