Report a translation problem
If one created the path system using angle snap it then becomes easy to follow the paths with the barrier angle snap set to match what was used for the path angle snap.

Don't worry about the climbing thing. It can be disabled for all pieces. Maybe that wasn't the case when this video was done.
If not, you have to move them with the advanced control (X).
But this can be done very precise so it looks like it's build on the same grid.
I also think custom fences can look really nice. Be creative! :)
There is even a one way glas you can use if your animal are shy.
And ya i like the idea of custom fences once i can line stuff up.
