Guests, employees and animals have a little camera icon when you click on them.
That makes the camera follow them.
So you can even watch the zookeepers doing their job.
As said above, makes most sense in sandbox mode.
There is also a huge zoopedia where you can learn something about the animals.
That might be of interest for your son (and you!) as well.
I'm shure your son will love it.
The animals and their animations are well done. So you can spend some time just watching and have fun.
