Show me your mediocre zoos!

I am looking for people mediocre zoos please! I hate building realistically unless I download something because I build to make me happy instead of aesthetically pleasing. IT IS A SAFE PLACE and I will never hate on your zoo. I get inspiration from mediocre zoos because I am interested in how people start the game and how people enjoy themselves. If you want me to see it, please upload it on the workshop with ‘ - PoPu’ at the end (e.g ‘My Zoo - PoPu’) as that is my username simplified. Thank you and have fun building!

I have a few zoos themed around different classes of animals, bears, the cats, canids, primates etc - they're not that ugly or anything, but there sure it a whole lot of rectangular shaped habitats ^^.

That sounds like my zoos. 5 double-concession stands on either side of the gate along the top wall, followed by 1 double bathroom on each end. 8 four-exhibit buildings evenly spaced across the next area. 4 walkthrough exhibits down each side. This preparation satisfies the needs of the customers and gives me an income with little effort. Then I can finally get into my theme habitats, which are all rectangular so I can more easily get the required areas. Like you, I break my zoos up by animal type, and also climate. It is easier to keep taiga animals in the taiga, and so on.

I forced myself to learn to build asymmetrically just to save my own sanity, really. Two drink stands for every food stand, a couple bathrooms here and there (not at all realistic, but that's ok.) Lots of info booths for when it rains and lags my game horribly for three freaking months at a time. People need those umbrellas at the ZOO. *sigh* But, I do have one franchise zoo for every grouping of animals now, I think. Big cats, dogs, primates, herd animals, Africa, North America, etc. Every zoo is therefore mediocre. I'm always surprised when I go back to an old zoo and see a really inventive habitat, or a really cool shop set-up. I hope, someday, you will post your own pics so I can see how you are doing it. lol

If you want to build on some partial zoos I have several in the workshop you may subscribe to. Most of them are ready to play as is or to ad to and grow a bigger zoo.

Bonus! Many of those zoos have building sets you may subscribe to so all you need to is place buildings and habitats in the zoos. And some have building kits where players may use pre built sections to create buildings themselves in the style of the zoo for even more fun.

I had one really inventive water park zoo where all the enclosures were connected by deep tunnels so the water could be kept clean by water filters off to the edge. Then they introduced the concept of deep water animals and I had beavers popping up in my alligator ponds, and so forth. It was a mess.

first one is what most of my zoos are built like, can't remember where i found the design but it's pretty efficient. 2nd one is the start of my mega-zoo, it's got the african section the penguins are the entrance and the exhibits built so far. needs the other continents to be built at some point.
