Heavy lies the Crown Community challenge

Hi, the next challenge says breed gold rated animals with horns or antlers, yet there's a picture if a babirussa. So does tusked animals count too? Is it every animals in the game including dlc and domesticated animals too? Or is it limited to specific ones like that stupid Indian subcontinent one?

Anyone know from the previous iteration of that challenge?

Last year I took part in this challenge too, and as far as I remeber, many animals counted. But I'm doubtfull this time, because a lot of challenges were messed up during the last months. Sticking to basegame animals seems safer but who knows, what they consider right this time.
We can use this thread to let us know what animals counted once the challenge started.
And there is a communitychallange thread on the official frontier forum site, that is quite
active.

Anyone getting started and testing what counts? I just logged in and and had some Gold Alphas ready to go so I'll try and update tonight as I go.

I just had a Gold Dama Gazelle born and it didn't count. Going to wait for another gold to test before I scrap them for this challenge.

How many do you need?? It showed 25% when I hate 32. Now it shows 26% when i have 48? What is the goal here?
