How do you find inspiration
I don’t like building realistically. I like building habitats that make me happy rather than aesthetically pleasing so I am not worried about the quality. All of my currant habitats are basic barriers anyway. I have all DLC and no mods.
How does this wonderful communtiy find ideas and inspiration. I am looking to expand a zoo, not create a new one. Share tour ideas below!

I take inspiration from real life, usually from smaller zoo floor-plans with smaller habitats. Smaller zoos have to utilize and make the most of far less space, and pull off the "Mary Poppins" effect or looking much bigger on the inside. Building by hand, from scratch, in PZ can be incredibly taxing, so making smaller habitats meets somewhere in the middle.

My aim is to maximise animal comfort and animal visibility, which depending on the species drives some different approaches, some get stressed with overhead walkways for example, other animals have tanks so setting up multilevel viewing platforms improves the guest experience etc

Hmm... Perhaps one of the deepest questions about Planet Zoo. There might be as many answers as there are players.
For those that are struggling for inspiration I really urge them to begin with a simple story about a zoo. It need not be a detailed story or a great novel, Just enough to get a place and why the zoo exists. As the zoo grows think about the things being added and how they fit the story. Think about where in the world the zoo is and what you think would be there. As your zoo grows your story will evolve and guide you on your journey to an in depth zoo with cohesive scenery and habitats that might amaze even the long time players in Planet Zoo.
So think of your story tonight and get busy creating tomorrow!
