Trying to get a zebra

So I am new to the game have been going pretty good so far, but I've been trying to build an African part of my zoo and would love some decent male zebra that's aren't 8000-10000 CC i dont care about color as im trying to do the breeding myself if you could help me out that'd be great

Be patient... The market in franchise is a bit quirky and we have to keep checking back frequently to snatch up the cheaper animals. Frontier animals will appear three or four times an hour so there is a good chance to find some. Be sure to set the option to show lowest price to highest, just click at the top of the price column.

I don't play Franchise, but are all the animals in the Franchise market put there by Franchise players? Seems not then according to grampers! So the animals in the market when playing in Sandbox are all placed by the game? Randomly I suppose. It is not easy to get high spec animals all the time, one has to compromise, or wait ages, and some animals time-out while browsing for them.

No, Frontier places assorted animals at regular intervals which are listed as being from Frontier Zoo. They often have lower stats but still breed very well as they are generated rather than bred.

Whatever mode, animals are animals and one cannot expect them all to be perfect, the game reflects that. But to wait for perfect ones can result in an empty zoo.
Real zoos encourage animals to breed and can enhance the animals' ability to do so. They can also make them immune to most common ailments. PZ has a Vets' research lab. Maybe Frontier could add such research?
