I'm pretty sure Frontier said they won't do aquarium animals. We might get some decorative fish tanks, but that's probably going to be it.
It was a company called Blue Fang, which I believe is no longer around. It's a shame, I'd love an updated version of Zoo Tycoon. It was a fantastic game.
If they were to add at least one fully aquatic animal, I would wager on sea turtles. They've already included the Archelon in JW:E 2, so they could easily borrow the mechanics and rigs from that game and implement them for Planet Zoo. However, knowing Frontier, the largest they might do with marine animals are stingrays or manta rays. Still, there are loads of fish species (fresh- and saltwater) they can choose from, which could open the door to a new category of animals.
We still don't have an announcement for their "final" DLC for the PC Version, so we have no idea what they're up to. The likelihood of marine animals, however, is likely not gonna happen. I have a small hope that they continue support for the game after 2024, but I'm not getting my hopes too high.
It's literally a zoo management sim though?
What logic is your question? What does that have to do with anything? You said "also its a game there is nothing sim about this game". It is 100% a zoo simulation game. How is there 'nothing sim' about a simulation game?
