Castle Myers is unbearable
Not looking for any advice here, just wanted to vent. The route guests have to take is insane, and not even in a challenging way, just obnoxious; I had to move the guest spawners down to where the actual zoo is. The zoo itself is cluttered to the point its hard to see the paths, especially on lower graphics: I ended up deleting almost everything. The variable terrain makes it impossible to build grid paths (I know I should have flattened everything beforehand, but I don't feel like restarting just for that) so I'm constantly dealing with overcrowding. Also more of a nitpick, but why is it so hot when it's set in central europe??

Just feels like a poorly designed scenario. Not fun to play.

I'm going through all the challenge scenarios and this is my latest one and it was a doozy. I'm down to just waiting for the bears to finish breeding, but it has definitely taken me longer than any other scenario so far. I ended up closing the zoo twice to rework paths and move around enclosures and the guest spawners. I also didn't realize it was hot for way too long since the map doesn't give off a scorching heat vibe, I was so confused why my guests were always so thirsty! Everything is finally working great with near 5k guests in the zoo, but I'm so ready to never see this map again even though i love the spooky build they had going.

Yeah, that's one that players need to really stick to the objectives and avoid over building. Players also need to rebuild and/or move every habitat to get things running smoothly. the trick is to get some shops on the hill and make use of the cave. I moved the bat walk through inside that cave which also stopped the traffic issue it had down on the corner. Haven't played any of them after that one.

I ended up just turning the mountain path into staff pathing so the guests can't walk on it at all. Works really well once you have the ride in, or you could choose to just build entirely on one section of the map, but I wanted to split up the guest spawns more.

Are they not supposed to set challenging tasks?

Not even remotely what I was implying. My point was that I think the scenario isn't fun and questionably designed.

tbh. this is very individual opinion... for me it was a fun because i saw that golden statue on the end...

also... all career scenarios are ridiculously simple compare to timed scenarios...

So a challenge then? Who says they have to be fun? Some are an annoying task.
My game now crashes every time I try to edit the gondola track so I think I'm just gonna put this one off to the side for a bit
