Menus not visible

Its not possible to open any mangement menu. No trading, no employee management, nothing. I see the category beeing highlighted green when i click on it, but the corresponding menu just wont show. A cant do anything. Purchasing animals is impossible, no employees or financial mangement. Any solutions for this?
I am playing on a 4k monitor, switching to fullscreen, window, rimmless wont change anything. Also the game wont close when saving and exit. The zoo saves and the game crashes and can only be closed via task-manager. just frustrating.
I already tried restarting PC, reinstalling the game, let steam search for broken files, no results so far.

I have a work around. Maybe it works for you guys aswel. When you want to open the animal market make sure that the game speed is running. Open the market and wait a bit. After that it wil open. You can open all the other ui things when the game speed is paused. But not the animal market.

I have this same issue since the update, it only happens whenever i click the animal market, before that its all fine. But whenever i want to get an animal or an exhibit the game's HUD completely crashes TT

same here, and contacting support isn't helpful in the slightest. really hope this gets fixed soon, but it's been weeks already :/

I'm not an expert and it could just be a coincidence but I updated Java and it's now working for me again.

Just wondering, how many with the disappearing menus were alt tabbing from zp to another app and back. This is a known issue that has caused errant menus and input detection for a while.

Unfortunately this isn't solely the cause of the issue as I have sat waiting, staring at the game, while it loads up and have remained in the game, only to still get the same issue.
It's crazy that this has been an issue since 2019!

Well,yes... It seems to likely be an xml issue with how certain data is initialized and called by other routines in the game. This can be due to a number of variables both at game level and at user's system level. For us to know exactly where the issue lies we would likely need full access to the players' computers to examine runtimes and paths (registry level).
