Animals that benefit from sharing habitats.
Some that are listed are obviously not from the same area at all. It's almost impossible to create the same landscape and flora for some of the suggested habitat sharing animals. So why are they listed as beneficial?

Can you name which animal?

I put Aardvak, Bongo, Okapi, all three types of lemur, which belongs from Africa, in the same enclosure with the Baird's Tapir. The tapir is from Mexico. The trick is that some tropical plants belong to both South America and Africa, but it means you can't put some plants you like.

Many animals. Place a species in a habitat. Click on it to bring up the needs. Get grass, soil, etc., out of the red. Add suggested fauna. Add some animal that apparently will benefit the first one, and all what's been done for the first one goes back to red, and a lot of the fauna is marked as not suitable for the second species. So it's quite obvious that what it suggests as beneficial are too often not at all from the same area. It can be so diverse I often remove the second species and put them on their own.

it's not important.. terrain paint and foliage make something like 3-4% of totaly welfare

That is where, at least for fauna, the filters come in. For example, the Koala likes plants in Tropical/Temperate but the Red Kangaroo (which both benefit from each other) likes Desert/Grassland. In the filters just click Oceania/Temperate and in the type in filter put Grassland. You then get plants that are in both Temperate and Grassland so each animal is happy.

It's important when the Zoopidea is not correct. How can they benefit from sharing if not actually from the same area?

Really, I never thought of that ... each animal has fauna requirements, even if it does not really affect welfare much. They also require an amount of 'coverage' as shown by a bar. So that's what you create. Then put another animal in, and their needs are totally different, with the UI suggesting you remove many of the plants, thus upsetting the coverage for the first animal.

no you just don' tundestand it... for example Bornean Orangutan and small-clawed otter

they have very small chance to interact in wild due to different ecological niches BUT...

Belgian zoo figured out that these species work very good with each other because:
both are social animals with certain hierarchy
they are curious and playful
they don't figth over food resourses

And that benefit is in mutual save interaction...

btw. pls realise one thing... terrain painting and whole foliage system is outdated relic from Zoo Tycoon games and it make Planet Zoo confusing for new player and kinda unrealistic...

In many zoos the animals have been born in them, and are acclimatised to even the different weather. Many of the flora available to satisfy the habitat/animal needs would simply not grow in many climates, so in reality zoos don't have them to make the animals 'feel at home'. But PZ does, and I like to see all the choice bars in the green.
