Can I build a structure wi th only one hand?
Due to my phisycal disabilithy I have only 1 hand to use.
So far, everything went smoothly as long as I build very custom/simple habitats. But now, I want to build some buildings in my zoo. But I can't build them, cause:

- I cannot turn walls
- put walls on top of each other and other things I did't tried yet, cause (as far as I know), you always have to do 2 movements at the same time and I czanot.

Very frustrating, I have such beautifull constructions in mind.

Is there a way? (devs of all games should consider this too.) I spend all day, laying in bed, playing games.

Thanks for your reponce.

If you use the entrance (Group 2) or any existing structure group to build your construction then I think you can do it. You need to duplicate wall with the right orientation then replace it by the piece you want (wall or roof).
Also you can use the virtual keybord when you need to use "Ctrl".
hope that helps

Do you by chance have auto stacking turned on? The walls are on a grid and if autostacking is on you won’t have to use shift to raise and lower them. Then when you need to build another side hit Z (unless its different in the country you live in) it will rotate then you can attach it to the grid, then autostack. Because of my shoulder I only use my left hand so the things i’ve listed have helped quite a bit. 😀

Hello! Oddly, I have the same issue as well but i use the on screen keyboard to help! Check the in-game settings and youll find it there! Also, turn the auto stack off and that will help with placement! Good luck!

I would recommend using a gaming mouse. That way you can program shift and such and only use one hand.

Many things are controlled by the mouse, I have not noticed it 'dropping' anything when you take your hand off it, so that allows you to then press a key for something. I have two hands, but usually only play using one! (Often a cig in the other.)

Thank you all

You should also look into "keyboard macros". Maybe even have a 2-keyboard setup, 1 full size for 1-touch macros and 1 x 1-handed gaming keyboard for regular control.

Oh, and speech recognition control perhaps? Hmmm might look into that myself. That'd be awesome!
