My entire game crashes when I load my two most-used saves.

As it says, my game crashes the instant I load up my two most-used and most detailed saves. It doesn't crash when I use my least-used save, though. My computer can run the game just fine, and the graphics aren't on high. I have enough room for the game on my computer.

I've tried many, many things to fix this. I've verified the files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, deleted my mods, updated my driver, updated my graphics, updated Windows, made sure that Discord isn't interrupting anything, and run Steam as an admin. I thought that it might be a corrupted save file, but I'm not sure if that's correct, because TWO different zoos are crashing the game.

I have no idea what to do from here, and I'd really appreciate some help.

I had the same issue as you and tried all the same fixes as you did. i also had mods and i removed them all, not to mention the saves I had lost did not even have mods in them. so what the problem seems to be is that if you have used the new modular gift shop especially if you put one down yourself it is possibly bugged and will make save files with it crash.

I'm sorry to hear this but this is why i don't use new features until they have been fully tested.

I got this problem now as well. As there anything I can do to resuce my saved zoo?

If one has p[laced the new modular shop in a zoo it may cause these crashes. If we still have an autosave of the zoo we can try loading that to get back in that zoo.

Do you have the new modular souvenir shop in those saves? They are working on a fix for that for January.

having the same problem. I don't have the modular shop, I did the update, now I can't get into either one of my saved zoos.

i remember that Frontier once recommended manual update of BIOS drivers in such cases... Maybe it will be worth to try?

I recommend contacting support for this.
In the mean time... First thing to do in your case is check for an autosave of the zoo. It would also be wise to verify game files through steam library. It's rare but there is an issue where some save games simply get corrupted in the save and we do not understand why it happens.

I tried that already. I can't get into my very first zoo ever(which crashed after one of the updates early last year, then was corrected and WAS what I was working in)or the newer zoo OR either one of the autosaves. NOT impressed.

How many species did you have in your zoo? {including the new species of the mods}

And where in your zoo did you save the game?

It's likely regarding the new souvenir shop. If you just placed it recently it's most likely that. There's a way to get back to in a previous save, posted on Reddit a couple of days ago.

Worked on 3 of my zoos. Some still have the souvenir shop in them so just delete them before you save and close out again.

Your animals will still be there, at least in franchise, since those are likely on PZ server or something, but any structures you built since your latest save won't be.
